Over this last year you’ve learnt so much about yourself; you discovered your passions, your loves, who your true friends are and who aren’t even your friends at all. You know it hasn’t been easy, but in this final year of high school you achieved more than you and everyone around you thought possible. You maintained friendships, held good grades and did every single co-circular you wanted (besides sport)!
Along this journey you learnt so many valuable lessons. You learnt that hard work really does pay off and so does being organized. You learnt that there is always time for the things you love, and unfortunately also for the things you don’t. You learnt that life is hard, but that you’re not the only one who has to live it. But most importantly, you learnt that if you want to be happy you’ve got to find it for yourself.
You know it hasn’t been all good times this year. There were rumors, fights, friendships lost and not to mention bad grades, but through it all you found your way. You learnt to be resilient and to stand up not only for yourself but for others. And by the end of this amazing, grueling and rough year - you found happiness. Whether it be in a friend, a person, a result or in an event.
You finally have it. Happiness. It’s on your plate, it’s in your hands, it’s in whatever analogy you want it to be in. These next few days will fly past and eventually you’ll get the four digit number that could make or break you. Just breathe because whatever happens you will get where you need to go. I believe in you, and so does your family, friends and even that special someone.
So chin up, because if this year taught you anything - it was that you are so much more capable than you believe, that you can do anything you want if you put your mind to it, that the impossible is possible.
Love,
Yourself
